Process_

The definition of network management is very diverse and can be divided into different levels. We would like to introduce these to you in more detail below.

Level 0 - Consulting

We start on level 0.

This means that we first analyze your problems, ideas and wishes during a free consultation.

Based on this, we develop a specific plan for implementation. This contains an overview of the necessary steps including a defined schedule. It also contains an indication of the level at which the implementation is to take place:

It is not always necessary to go through all levels from 1 to 4. Depending on your individual wishes, it is also possible to start directly at a higher level.

 

Level 1 - Hardware procurement

Choosing suitable hardware can prove to be quite difficult: Which servers, routers, switches or access points do I need? What performance do they need to provide and how do they need to be configured? Which basic connections (e.g. RJ-45, SFP+, fiber optics) are required to connect the components?

We are happy to support you in answering these questions. We acquire the devices you need for your individual business from our reliable distributors and thus create the necessary conditions for implementation.

Level 2 - Hardware setup

As soon as the devices have arrived, we can get started: We will set them up for you based on our consultation plan. Of course, it is also possible to set up existing devices or devices not purchased by us.

We start by checking which cables and lines are available; if necessary, we extend these further or lay new ones as an alternative. In the next step, these cables are connected to the routers - or switches in the case of larger networks. Connecting the access points to the routers lays the foundation for the Wifi.

The IT infrastructure is then completed by setting up PCs, laptops and servers. In each of these steps, we ensure that the devices communicate with each other smoothly.

Level 3 - Software setup

Once the hardware has been set up, we can focus on expanding your network: The appropriate operating systems and the necessary applications.

Among others, the following elementary software applications are implemented for our existing customers: VMware, HyperV, Docker, Windows Server, Zentyal, Domain Server, Application Server, Microsoft 365, Microsoft Teams, Server-Eye, pcvisit, UnifiOS, UnifiProtect, WireGuard VPN, OpenVPN, Windows 11 and Carat.

We adhere to the implementation plan we discussed with you.
After implementing your hardware and software, we check together whether everything has been set up to your satisfaction. In doing so, we ensure that your processes - as desired from the beginning - run significantly easier and faster.

Level 4 - Maintenance

In the modern world, a one-off setup is not enough: IT is constantly evolving.

Operating systems receive regular updates. As these are not always delivered without errors, this can result in light to serious disruptions to the infrastructure.

Due to our technical expertise and analysis tools, we are able to identify sources of error, prevent them or rectify them within a short period of time. By regularly maintaining and servicing your hardware and software, we continuously ensure that your applications run smoothly, thereby reducing your workload.
